Fort Dorchester High School Graduation- May 30, 2010

As approximately 550 Fort Dorchester High School seniors were filing into the North Charleston coliseum it was a proud moment for everyone involved...Dylan's very good friend Kyle Grow graduated and how exciting it was for Josh to go to his first graduation !! The traffic was horrendous to get there so we left after Kyle was awarded his diploma to beat the crowd out of there...What a great day it was and Congratulations to all the graduating seniors at FDHS !!

Buddy Soccer- Spring 2010

Today was the LAST day of spring Buddy Soccer at Summerville Soccer Club..It was a phenomenal season and all the kids had a blast..The Buddies and parents enjoyed it possibly even more than the kids !! I can't believe that a whole year has flown by since the birth of Finley Sophia !!
She is the beautiful creation of Justin and Megan Dungan and we want to wish Sophia a Happy May Day birthday!! Here is a picture of her just hours old with me holding her and her beautiful mom Megan beside us..You would never have known that she just gave birth !! Congratulations to all 3 of you !!!!

Mother's Day with Josh & Dylan !!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day with Josh, Dylan and Chessie..I had beautiful flowers, cards and even spent part of the day with Mom and Dad Feher.. The end of the afternoon was spent watching Josh and Dylan playing " Buddy Soccer " at Summerville Soccer club..What a great day it was with all my boys and Chessie too !!

Sunday Morning Boo Boo !!

Every Sunday morning I love to take a nice walk and enjoy the start of the day..On this particular morning I asked John to accompany me and surprisingly enough he agreed..Not being a power walker he decided to take Kyle's (Dylan's friend) bike on this journey instead of my bike which was farther away to get...The walk started out nicely until after 10 mins into the walk John spotted a lone squirrel in the middle of the road..Deciding he would torment this little critter a little he went into full throttle on this "beach cruiser" type of bike...Well after the 4th hard rotation on it the chain decided to dislodge which brought John's foot down with no resistance at all...He went into full flail mode and finally ended up on the asphalt in front of me..I was stunned that he got back up so fast but I'm sure he didn't want anyone to see him on the ground..His pride was hurt and the fact that he was outsmarted by this squirrel...His foot came down hard on the chain shaft and he's still healing right now but should make a FULL recovery !!!

Mother's Day 2010 with the Fehers !!

I have the best "hanai" parents here in South Carolina and I love them dearly !! I was very lucky to meet Lou and Lilly Feher in 2003 when we first moved to SC..I met them at the gym and we would see each other every morning working out... We became fast friends and before I knew it I was calling them Mom and Dad and the boys were calling them Grandma and Grandpa...They are wonderful people and I feel blessed to have them in my life as well as in my families lives...John and I spent Mother's Day with the both of them at their home in Beresford Hall across I-526 from Daniel's Island and we had a great day together talking, taking a beautiful nature walk and having lunch together.. We love you Mom and Dad Feher !!!
